Due to his highly professional, very pleasant warm hearted approach, together with his desire to listen to my feelings and comments I felt totally at peace and now go into the future with full confidence,

I met with Mr Jain at his follow up clinic at Westmorland General Hospital on 21 January 2020 after my prostate procedure. I found him to be very helpful, patient and professional. He answered all my questions and explained options for further treatment. I look forward to seeing him again in three months time as he is monitoring my progress.

I was made to feel very relaxed before the procedure and what was going to happen was all explained and talked through with me. I did not need to wait too long after my appointment time before being seen and I was given excellent care and attention and was asked throughout if I was fine

Dear Mr. JAin, Thank you for the invitation to reflect on the consultation you kindly provided some days ago. Prior to the meeting, my expectation was that I would meet someone who would take the lead. And say, "I have before me on the screen the report of your visit to the one-stop clinic and also the trace of the C.T. Scan. THese show. . . . .The next step is . . . . . In the event, when we met just before noon you came across to me as a man who had already that morning seen a succession of largely elderly people and was beginning to feel he would rather be. Anywhere else than seeing yet another patient! (In fact your report shows that you were fully engaged). I wonder if you have ever considered removing the carrier of the table and sitting beside the patient with the screens visible to both parties. (This might prove embarrassing if one of the screens happened to be tuned in to the cricket!). Sitting side by side would introduce an element of the tutorial which in turn might make the meeting more interesting to both parties, instructive to the patient and satisfying to the consultant. I look forward to our meeting later this month, All good wishes, Yours Sincerely, Arthur Cannon

I found Mr Jain to be very personable and polite, always happy to answer questions. He took time to explain my condition and the measures needed for treatment.
